Best Monday Night At The Movies

So last night, we went to go see A-Team. We actually we just went to the movie theatre and that was the only thing playing at the time when we were there ( aren’t we so spontaneous). I loved A-Team from when I was a kid. I remember some of my friends were not allowed to watch it, and had to watch Air Wolf instead….. All I gotta say, is sorry, b/c the A-Team was great. I mean its not like it’s a mind blowing plot or anything, but on a super hot/humid Monday night, it did just the trick. I will give you just a brief memory refresh, or if somehow you missed the original show.

Here is the original A-Team

The A-team is a group of special forces (Rangers) who get set up to take the fall for something they did not do. So they set out to clear their name and right the wrongs. Its full of fun action. I gotta say, I was too long to enjoy Face the first time around, but not this time. I mean I almost feel embarrassed how much I fall for the Bad Boy who is actually a Good Guy thing. I was expecting at least one, “I Pity the Fool,” but probably best we skipped it, that did a little played out in the 80′s, I think it got wrapped up with the Just Say No campaign and New Coke.

The New A-Team

Not only did we have fun at the movie, it was also an overall great night. When we went in the movie it was super hot, and by the time we left it had stormed, and cooled down, we drove home listening to music with a little car dancing, I mean who can resist dancing to Huey Lewis ( who was my first boyfriend, I am not sure if he knows, but me and his album cover had many of makeout session). I kinda felt like I was back in high school, except with out the braces, curfew, or the trying to think lame boyfriends were not actually lame.

So, while I would say you have to see it, but if you do have a free night, and you like a classic summer action movie, give it a shot.
